your ProRetouch Service?
Images that require additional retouching beyond features offered in our Premium
Pro Service, where you have specifically requested work not included in the
standard offerings, will be charged on an ongoing basis. We can usually
accommodate these requests with an additional fee which typically ranges from an
additional $2 to $5 per image for basic requests. Elaborate requests, such
as opening eyes or removing people or backgrounds, will be charged based on time
required. You'll find that our charges are always very reasonable for the
amount of work that is done.
5. Do you only do work on digital images taken by professionals?

After account creation, we will set up a FTP (File Transfer Protocol) directory for you to use to transfer your images to us. You may simply drag & drop the files from your computer directly to the FTP directory. You'll be able to create new subdirectories, as needed, to place new work within.
9. Do I need to have my own FTP server?
No, you'll be able to use the ProRetouch.com FTP server for all uploads & downloads.
10. How do we include our notes and
specific instructions?
If you have notes pertaining to the images you upload to your FTP
directory, you may upload that as a text file along with the image files.

No, ProRetouch provides services only for professional
digital imagery. In addition to original digital images, we will accept clean, high quality film & print scans.
12. How long will the retouching take?
For standard retouching orders, delivery is in about two days. If there are special instructions requiring extraordinary retouching, delivery time may be longer, perhaps by a day or two.
13. How can I achieve the best results?
To obtain the best possible results we need your help. Proper exposure and use of the best lighting ratios will enable us to create superbly finished portraits for you. Particularly at the beginning, we're happy to work with you to ensure that your images are technically the finest achievable by suggesting ways for you to create optimal exposures. Consistency in exposure is also extremely important. While we can correct even badly exposed images, some degradation of the images will result from under or over exposed pictures. Great care should be taken to avoid over exposure of digital images since if the highlights are clipped, the image's quality will be compromised.
